"The Greenroom was painted dirty beige. A large TV all but filled one wall, an imposing view of what was happening a few feet away on stage. Tallow sat watching the TV from an overstuffed couch upholstered in dark brown suede that had been worn and mottled over the sofa’s short lifespan. Above him hung a painting of the sort that adorned many a mid-range hotel suite, two ships in an overcast seascape painted with no particular passion or attention to detail. The ubiquitous nature of the painting was no doubt meant to instill a soothing normalcy to the show’s more nervous guests and contrast the giant monitor on the opposite wall."
